Every year, users hear about how important cybersecurity is and how important it is that they use complex passwords that are unique.
And, every year, articles are published at the end of the year that list the worst passwords.
Well, here’s the 2019 version of that list of the worst passwords. If you are using one of these passwords on any site, please take a deep breath, let a moment of shame come over you for about 12 seconds. Then, go online and reset the password to something more complex and substantially more secure.
Although, they didn’t make the top ten, new entries (based on keyboard layout) include “1q2w3e4r” and “qwertyuiop”.
It would be truly shocking to think that the people who attack accounts for a living aren’t going to attack your accounts with the super simple passwords on this list as well as other way too simple passwords on other published lists.
Do yourself a favor and don’t let bad guys in the front door with a giant, flashing welcome sign. Reset your useless (non-) passwords right now!
